Executive - Out-grower Farmer Program
We are seeking a dedicated and field-oriented Executive - Out-grower Farmer Program to develop and manage a strong network of partner farmers. The primary responsibility of this role is to identify suitable farmers, establish long-term agreements, and guide them to cultivate selected crops required for our production needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with out-grower farmers and farming communities.
- Coordinate crop planning, cultivation schedules, and harvesting timelines with farmers.
- Provide technical guidance, training, and support to enhance productivity and quality, ensuring cultivation meets company standards.
- Monitor compliance with agricultural best practices, quality standards, and company policies.
- Conduct regular field visits to monitor activities, ensure agreed practices are followed, assess farm performance, and provide actionable feedback.
- Track crop progress, identify challenges, and provide timely and effective solutions.
- Collect and analyze data on farm outputs, constraints, and opportunities for improvement.
- Maintain accurate documentation, farmer agreements, and progress reports for management decision-making.
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience working with farmer networks, out-grower programs, or agricultural extension work.
- Educational background in Agriculture or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of crop cultivation, farm operations, and rural community engagement.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel frequently to farming sites and work independently.
