JOB VACANCY: Assistant Manager - Agronomy at Nelna Agri Development (Pvt) Ltd

🔑 Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Assist in planning and implementing all agronomic operations including land preparation, planting, fertilization, irrigation, pruning, pest & disease control, and weed management.
- Monitor crop growth stages and ensure timely execution of field activities as per the approved agronomy calendar.
- Ensure proper application of fertilizers, agrochemicals, and other inputs in compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Conduct regular field visits to evaluate plant health, soil conditions, and water management practices.
- Collect field data, maintain agronomic records, and support decision-making through data analysis.
- Coordinate with R&D teams or external agronomists for trials, new techniques, and variety evaluations.
- Supervise and guide field supervisors, team leaders, and labor teams on daily operations.
- Ensure compliance with GLOBAL G.A.P., Sedex, SMETA, and internal SOPs.
🎓 Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree/ equivalent qualification in Agriculture / Agronomy / Plantation Management.
- 3-4 years of experience** in plantation/agronomy operations, preferably in **fruit crops or orchard management.
- Data-driven approach with proficiency in MS Office.
