The Group’s Tea Warehousing and Logistics complex is a fully racked multifaceted facility which is designed to handle palletised tea packages and finished goods offering comprehensive logistics solutions to third party clients.
Executive - Tea Trading: Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the day-to-day operations of tea trading, including auction participation and sample evaluation.
- Monitor auction prices and trends to support trading decisions.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of trades, contract requirements, and inventory.
- Collaborate with the tea tasting team to align purchases with quality standards.
- Contribute to weekly and monthly trading reports and market analysis.
Qualifications
- A Degree or Diploma in Business, International Trade, Agriculture or a related field.
- Prior internship or experience in tea trading, supply chain or export operations.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Note: Preference will be given to candidates residing in close proximity to Welisara.
